Buland Darwaza is another attraction spot for tourists.

Delhi

Delhi is a cosmopolitan city which also the political capital of India. Delhi is the center of legislative, executive, and judiciary branches of the Indian Government. Delhi is also well known as the microcosm of India and is a leading global city. The city is strong in the fields of arts, commerce, education, finance, healthcare, entertainment, fashion, media, professional services and tourism. Along with Jerusalem and Varanasi, Delhi is also believed to be one of the oldest cities in the world. It has been estimated to be more than 5000 years old. It is believed that Delhi was built and destroyed 11 times over the millennia. We see an indication of this place in the Hindu epic Mahabharata in its oldest incarnation Indraprastha. Delhi lies on the Gangetic plains and is known to be as flat as the rest of the plains. But the river Yamuna flows through the city.
